Please join the Ocean Beach Town Council at their next meeting, Wednesday, May 23, where they will be discussing the OB Parrots and ways in which the community can support these beautiful and unique residents of Ocean Beach.
In particular the discussion will examine the City’s springtime tree-trimming policy, which often endangers parrot nests.

I just recently read in the Union-Tribune Mayor Kevin is cutting way back on funds for city tree trimming. Have you considered this for Wed discussion?
I appreciate the Air Force much more since moving out of the apartment where a dozen of them took residence outside my bedroom window for 3-4 months a year.
Random aside – growing up in East County, we had a huge flock of wild parrots that took up residence for a few months a year on the eastern edge of the El Cajon valley. Has anyone ever dug through the urban-origin-myths or explored whether the two are related?
