OB Planning Board: Annual Election – Wed., March 7th

This Wednesday, March 7th, is a big day for Ocean Beach planners.

First, it’s the annual election for 7 open seats on its 14-member Board of volunteers and voting will take place inside the OB Recreation Center, from 4 to 6pm. The Rec Center is located at 4726 Santa Monica Avenue.

Second, Wednesday is the monthly meeting of the Planning Board, which will be held at 6pm in the Community Room at the Rec Center (see separate post).

Yes, 7 seats on the Board are up for grab. Check the district map above (click on image for larger version) for the district of your residence or business or property.

Voter Instructions

All members of the community are eligible to vote in the election for the district in which they reside, own property, or own/operate a business in Ocean Beach. It is not necessary to be a registered voter with the state or county government; however, all voters must register in person with a member of the Election Committee. Registration may be completed on Election Day when voting, or prior if requesting a mail-in ballot.
