Debra Puente, a woman from Linda Vista, went missing one year ago. A week after she was last seen her vehicle was found in Ocean Beach. Both her wallet and ID were found in the car.

Her friends and family are still hopeful she or something that the family can go on will show up.

Puente, 50, was last seen at the Longhorn near Mission Gorge Road and Friars Road on March 28, 2017. A poster with her photo and pleas for help stated:

She had gone out with friends after work. Her Black, 2013 Hyundai, 4 door, yielding California license plate 6XRP212 was found abandoned on Santa Cruz Avenue near Bacon Street in Ocean Beach.

It adds:

This is out of character for Debra to not be in touch with her family and friends. She would have not risked losing her job she has had for 15 years by not showing up or calling. We are desperately seeking the public’s help in locating her. San Diego has a lot of areas that need flyers as she could be anywhere. It is so important her face is everywhere.

A Facebook page has been set up and a group called “Cal Advocates For The Missing” is helping in the search.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts should call San Diego police detective Luna at 619-531-2277 or SDPD at 619-531-2000.

On the Facebook page, her sister pleaded:

My sister was last seen by her friends 1 YEAR AGO, on the 28th .. It is so hard to believe that with all the technology today that we still have no leads, no nothing. Its like she just vanished.

During this past year we have heard nothing from the police, no leads, no suspects, no nothing just dead ends. The last 4 months have been very hard on my family, as me, my younger sister and Debi’s kids, talked with radio podcasts (vanished) to get my sisters story out to the public and to 2 physics.

We followed the Physics dreams and thoughts and would do anything to find her. Those searches were heart wrenching and scary, but we were determined to do anything to find her. Unfortunately we turned up empty handed. ? We are devastated and heart broken but so hopeful that shes alive somewhere , We will never give up hope on that. ?

As for right now, we will keep searching, praying and waiting. We pray that someone out there sees our posts, sees our flyers, or sees Deb’s face and lets her know that we love and miss her so much and we just want her to come home.

We want to thank everyone for their thoughts and continued prayers. With all your support and prayers it has helped us so much. We love you all and Lets pray that someday soon Deb will be home with us.

Perhaps you should have contacted “psychics” instead of a “physics” as indicated in your account. Glad to be of help.
