The Ocean Beach group, “No Target in OB” is sponsoring a community rally and press conference Wednesday, October 4th at the foot of Newport Avenue. They put out the call:
For OB Lovers: No Target in Ocean Beach.
Join us for a Community Rally and Press Conference
We will start gathering at 5 pm but come when you can. Press conference at 6 pm.
This issue has received extensive news coverage from the mainstream media. Both the Ocean Beach Planning Board and the Ocean Beach Town Council have held community forums with overwhelming support for No Target in Ocean Beach.

The group is hosting a No Target in Ocean Beach Community Forum on Wednesday, October 11th, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. It will be held at the Ocean Beach Recreation Center 4726 Santa Monica Avenue.
