Come to a town hall meeting with SDUSD Trustees Evans, Whitehurst-Payne and SDUSD Supt. Marten.

The school board and superintendent are planning to lay off 1,000 educators. That’s 1 in every 7! They’re also cutting enrichment classes and slashing student supports. These cuts are just predictions and they’ve been wrong every time.

The District doesn’t really know what its budget will be until June. Right now they are just guessing, and they have a long history of guessing wrong. Last year their budget was off by 48%, and in 2014-15 by 94%!
