“Revenge Girls of the West” returns to the Masonic Lodge this weekend, a dinner-theater production that brings the action from the stage to the audience.
The show was locally written and produced with a cast and crew consisting mostly of OB residents, and is an immersive experience where the story unfolds throughout the room. There will be a Saturday-night show that has already sold out, but tickets for Sunday’s 6:01 PM show are still available at www.shetrick.com.
“Every seat is a front-row seat, and the audience really gets to be in the thick of it,” said Sooty Hetrick, who wrote the show with Tomas Navarro.
Like last year’s show, it will be a benefit for Breast Cancer Angels, a charity that provides financial assistance to cancer patients who need help keeping up with rent, mortgage and other bills during their treatment.
The ticket price includes a three-course carnitas dinner, and beer and cocktails will be available at the cash bar. Bottle service will also be available. Since liquor will be served and the script includes language that would make Quentin Tarantino take notice, the shows are 21 and up.
Music for the show was written and will be performed by Jonny Wagon, lead singer for Behind the Wagon.
Production company Shetrick Entertainment is staging the show and has produced several immersive experiences at the Masonic in the last five years. Hetrick said these shows will probably be the last performances of “Revenge Girls.”
