The OB March 4 Impeachment is gaining momentum as it will happen this Saturday, March 4th, where participants will spell out “Impeach” just north of the OB Pier.
There will be a Beach Clean-up and March from Dog Beach to the Pier, says the facebook and the main event will be to “Replicate Human Protest Banner from Ocean Beach, San Francisco,” just that here in Ocean Beach, San Diego, participants will spell out “IMPEACH”. The OB Rag and Indivisible San Diego support this action. As of this posting, 491 people have pledged to participant with another 2,200 saying they’re interested.

The March 4 Impeachment is just one of thousands of events to promote the efforts to resist the Trump agenda. We resist his misogynistic, xenophobic, and climate denial policies to name a few.
Why Impeach?
Being an uncontrollable narcissists is not an impeachable offense, but his actions as a narcissist, who believes he can do no wrong, are impeachable.
We must pressure Congress to investigate possible impeachable acts by Trump.
1. The Emoluments Clause of the Constitution prohibits federal officials — including the president — from accepting payments from foreign governments. Recently Trump was granted a long sought after trademark by China just days after he reaffirmed the U.S. policy of ‘One China’.
2. Trump’s refusal to fully divest from his holdings which may benefit from his position as President. These include hotel, golf and real estate development projects across the United States, as well as resort and hotel properties around the world.
3. Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C. located in Old Post Office is in violation of its government lease which bars elected federal officials from benefiting from the lease.
4. Too many Russian connections between Trump’s advisors and staff. Congress need to investigates Trump’s role. Was there collusion with a foreign government in the Presidential election? Were promises made to aid and comfort a foreign enemy?
While many Republicans are looking to divert attention away from possible impeachable acts, we insist that Congress investigates.
That is our Mission Statement.

Maybe we should spell investigate rather than impeach, when we don’t have evidence to do so yet?

“Probe” is my call.
If he gets impeached, it doesn’t mean he will be kicked out of office. Bill Clinton was impeached. Then if he (Trump) goes though the whole impeachment process and does get forced to leave as a result, that means Pence will be president.
Resistance is not childish. Awareness is mature. Trump should meet resistance from a multitude of facets in his life. It’s sort of like the BDS movement: inch by inch, display the wrongs & educate a multitude of people.
Resistance isn’t childish. Saying things like impeach when you have no verifiable evidence to ask for it is childish, and actually does harm to our cause of getting people to investigate. It’s no more childish than the far right chanting lock her up
Is the Richmond City Council childish for approving a resolution calling on Congress to consider impeachment? Not accepting payments from foreign governments (emoluments clause) is the reason most often cited. It is clear there are foreign business interests tied to this White House like no other. It isn’t clear how the courts will interpret this law, but the lawsuit is already in progress.
