We will be monitoring the Presidential Electoral College Vote as it progresses through today, Monday, December 19th, through the states and time zones.

Here are links to live-stream coverage of the Electoral College vote in each state legislature.

As per the Constitution, electors in 50 states (plus the District of Columbia) will meet today to cast their votes and choose the next president of the United States. If the electors vote the way their states did, Donald Trump will win the presidency with 306 Electoral College votes to Hillary Clinton’s 232.
Trump must win 270 to win the election. (thanx to Atlanta Journal Const.

4:49 pm PST Final count: Donald Trump has 304 votes; Hillary Clinton has 227 votes; 7 votes went to others.

4:42 PM PST Hawaii cast 3 votes for Hillary Clinton and 1 vote for Bernie Sanders.

4 :06 pm PT Hawaii begin the Electoral College voting process at 7 p.m. ET. Hawaii will be the last state to vote.

3:55 PM PT California has cast 55 votes for Hillary Clinton.

Dec 19, 2016 2:56 PM PST The count: Donald Trump 304; Hillary Clinton 169; There are 59 pending votes. Colin Powell comes in third in Electoral College voting. He did not run for president in 2016.

Dec 19, 2016 1:30 PM PST Donald Trump has been elected president as he passes 270 Electoral votes. Texas cast all but 2 of their 38 Electoral votes for Donald Trump.

2:20 PM PT Texas electoral votes will be coming in very soon. Texas voted Trump.

1:54 pm PT Nevada has cast 6 votes for Hillary Clinton.

1:52 PM PT California will begin voting at 5 p.m. ET. Hillary Clinton won the popular vote in California.

1:44 PM PT Montana has cast 3 votes for Donald Trump. He is two Electoral votes away from being elected president of the United States.

1:36pm PT From the Associated Press:

“A couple of hundred protesters are gathering outside the California state Capitol ahead of Monday’s Electoral College meeting.”

1:30 PM PT The count: Donald Trump has 265 votes; Hillary Clinton has 160 votes. There are 109 votes pending.

1:25 PM PT Iowa cast 6 votes for Donald Trump.

1:12 pm PT From The Associated Press:

“Democrat Hillary Clinton received eight votes, former Secretary of State Colin Powell got three, and Faith Spotted Eagle, an elder in the Yankton Dakota tribe, got one. Clinton won the state’s popular vote.”

1:10 PM PST Prior to the vote of the last handful of states — Texas included — the only faithless electors have been Democrats.

1:08 PM Massachusetts cast 11 votes for Hillary Clinton.

1:00 pm PT Alaska has cast 3 votes for Donald Trump.

12:49 PM PST The count: Donald Trump has 256 Electoral votes; Hillary Clinton has 135 votes. There are 143 votes pending.

12:46 PM  New Jersey cast 14 votes for Hillary Clinton.

12:47 PM  Four Democratic voters in Washington chose not to vote for Hillary Clinton, becoming “faithless” voters. Clinton took the other 8 votes in the state. Three Democratic electors have tried to be “faithless” by not voting for Clinton. One in Maine, one in Minnesota and one in Colorado. Those votes were changed and registered for Clinton.

12:42 PM Colorado has cast 9 votes for Hillary Clinton.

12:29 PM Nebraska electors cast 5 votes for Donald Trump.

12:22 PM  Missouri has cast 10 votes for Donald Trump.

12:10 pm PT The Maine elector who voted for Bernie Sanders has his vote ruled “improper.” He has switched the vote to Clinton.

12:03 PM PST Voting began at 3 p.m. in Alaska, Massachusetts, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, Texas and Washington.

11:50 am PT The Second District of Maine cast 3 votes for Hillary Clinton. The First District of Maine cast 1 vote for Donald Trump.

11:48 am PT The count: Donald Trump has 240 Electoral votes; Hillary Clinton has 115. There are 183 pending.

11:37 am PT – Oregon has cast 7 votes for Hillary Clinton.

11:34 am PT From the AP: “Maine Democratic elector casts vote for U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders for president instead of Hillary Clinton.”

11:32  Ohio cast 18 votes for Donald Trump.

11:31 am PT Wyoming cast 3 votes for Donald Trump.

11:25 New Mexico cast 5 votes for Hillary Clinton.

11:20 am PT New Mexico cast 5 votes for Hillary Clinton.

The count: Donald Trump has 224 votes; Hillary Clinton has 103 votes. There are 214 votes pending. A candidate needs 270 votes to be elected president.

11:22 AM  Electors in North Dakota cast 3 votes; Idaho cast 4 votes; Utah cast 6 votes and Kansas cast 6 votes for Donald Trump.

11:21  Florida cast 29 votes for Donald Trump.

11:21 AM – PT Michigan casts 16 votes for Donald Trump.

11:19 AM PST Minnesota cast 10 votes for Hillary Clinton after Muhammad Abdurrahan, a “faithless voter” refused to vote for her and was replaced by an alternate.

11:20 am PT The Michigan electors have asked to read a statement into the record. The statement refers to this historical workings of the Electoral College.

11:00 am PT –  At 2 p.m. ET, Colorado, Florida, Idaho, Maine, Michigan, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, Utah and Wyoming will begin voting.

10:47 AM PT From the AP: Protesters shouted, cried and even sang “Silent Night” as Wisconsin’s 10 presidential electors cast their ballots for Donald Trump.

As of 10:44 am PT The count: Donald Trump has 179 votes; Hillary Clinton has 93 votes. There are 266 votes pending.

1o:32 am  PT  Alabama has cast nine votes for Donald Trump.
10:28 All 10 Maryland electors cast their vote for Hillary Clinton via voice vote.

As of 10:23 am PT Trump has 170 and Clinton has 83.

10:21 am PT,  Wisconsin has cast 10 votes for Donald Trump.
10:20 am PT  Kansas has cast 6 votes for Donald Trump.

As of 10:15 am PT, the count is : Donald Trump has 154 votes; Hillary Clinton has 83 votes. There are 301 votes pending.
