The new “Gallagher’s 1502”

Discounts Extended to 92107 Locals

It is happening. The “Soft Opening” of Steve Yeng’s latest bar and restaurant – called (for now) “Gallagher’s 1502” is on for tonight, Friday the 13th.

Steve Yeng and his family, owners of the original OB Noodle House on Cable and of Bar 1502 on Niagara, have taken over the former Gallagher’s on Newport Avenue – as we announced on Tuesday.

And tonight, beginning at 5pm and lasting till 2am, Steve will introduce his new “traditional Irish pub” to the OB community that he so loves. He told the OB Rag today in a phone interview that he will keep that type of atmosphere until at least Halloween.

He’s been in OB for 26 years – and has given much back to it. Earlier he pledged that once his new place is up and running, that it will host nationally-known musical groups once a month, with the cover charge going to community charities.

In fact, the first charity gig will be next Friday, May 20th.

But on to tonight – Steve told the OB Rag that at 8pm, the Fooks – a traditional Irish band – will play.

Plus – “Gallagher’s 5102” will be offering extreme discounts to 92107 locals tonight.

This is all at 5046 Newport Ave.

Hope to see ya there! (We don’t mind giving Steve and his family this PR for they as locals have given back to OB.)

I remember when they were on tv competing against South Beach.
Easy Win! The money won was donated to OB Elementary. You Are The BOMB!
Look forward to those 92107 specials this evening. Definitely going by………..
