UPDATED – More Photos
By Terry Ratner
In a split second, a face makes its first impression on us.
Each photo tells a story, but it probably doesn’t tell the same story to any two people.
But faces, oh the faces.
The children are easy to love, but what about those portraits that expose us to uncomfortable subjects, scenes and social issues we might normally turn our backs on.
Hard to believe we might one day look back at these photos and view them as less complicated times.
