On Thursday, August 13, the California Coastal Commission will consider approval of the Ocean Beach Community Plan at their meeting in Chula Vista.
The larger hearing begins begins at 9am, but the Community Plan is item #22c on the agenda, so the actual time it will be heard is currently unknown.
The Ocean Beach Town Council is sponsoring bus transportation to Chula Vista. If you would be interested in bus transportation, please email your name, phone number, and address to: communityplan@oceanbeachplanning.org.

The first 40 people to show up will get a seat on the bus so it is advised that if you want a seat please be early. Individuals riding the bus should pack a lunch.

OB really needs to thank the Ocean Beach Town Council for stepping up to get the bus together. Not certain why the Planning commitee didn’t organize it. Thanks OBTC!

While the OB Town Council is organizing the Bus it has been a collaborative effort with the Planning Board along with other community groups in assisting in getting the word out. Just wanted to make sure the Planning Committee is getting credit for their assistance.
