OB Planners and Town Council Need Volunteers for Holiday Parade

OBceans are needed as volunteers for this week, one of the busiest in OB – the Holiday Parade.

The OB Town Council needs volunteers – here is a list of what they need:

7 Barricade Guards
1 Staging Assistant
1 Clean Up Crew Member
4 Security / Crowd Control Volunteers

OB Planners Need You for the Community Plan Contingent

And OB planners invite you to join the OB Community Plan contingent at the front of the Parade, wear you blue T-shirt and carry a one word sign. Sign making materials are available at the Dog Beach Dog Wash, 4933 Voltaire, from 7am to 5pm – just ask the staff for help. Plus there is a night-before party at the Dog Wash for those in the contingent, 7pm, wine and beer served.

The Town Council also needs volunteers for the Food & Toy Drive (no need to sign up, just show up)

20-30 Volunteers Each Day for Sorting, Wrapping, and Allocating the Donations
Tuesday, December 16-Friday, December 19th 5:00-8:00pm at the Masonic Hall (1711 Sunset Cliffs Blvd)
Saturday, December 20th 9:00am-12:00pm for Distributing the Donations (volunteers with large vehicles or trucks are highly sought after)
