Steve-O took 2 days and 5 efforts to place “Sucks” in the SeaWorld freeway exit sign last May. He’s a star already. He released this video of  his efforts and it has gone viral.

It’s hilarious. Steve got help in climbing up and taping the word “SUCKS” over part of the giant green sign near the I-5 exit. So, it read “SeaWorld Sucks”.

Let’s hope he doesn’t get copshot for defacing public property.

They are already talking about charging Steve-O with a crime for this. According to the D0T it cost $7000 to fix the sign. Sure.

They also say it was a dangerous distraction to drivers. Distracting like video billboards and blinking signs?

Like Steve-O said if this is wrong he don’t wanna be right.

How can it cost $7000 to fix the sign when all he did was use duct tape and a huge piece of paper to cover up five letters? He didn’t paint anything on the sign, sure there might be a little bit of duct tape residue, but it isn’t something like a bottle of Goo Gone or rubbing alcohol couldn’t fix.

Right or wrong no one can expect to pull a stunt like this and expect there not to be consequences, no matter how justified, right, and noble the cause. Whether or not he will have to fork out seven grand remains to be seen, but I hope for his own sake he is prepared for a worst case scenario.

Yep, $5.50 for Goo Gone & $6,994.50 for adult diapers for the state prosecutor who takes the case; in court he’ll be relieving himself daily w/ regret for taking the case.
Sea World will claim damages, so let’s start a defense fund for Steve-O.
