OB Pier south aerialOn Sunday  morning, a male surfer was pulled out of the surf by rescuers out in water south of the OB Pier. He was unconscious when he was dragged to shore and paramedics were unable to revive him.

The 41 year old unidentified guy was then taken to UCSD Medical Center in Hillcrest. As of Sunday afternoon, his condition was not known.

This is from a report in today’s U-T San Diego.  No other news is available on the man or his condition.

Unfortunately, there were no updates in either Monday or today’s news. Our calls to U-T reporters were not answered. We will try to find updates.

If the “guy” was unidentified, how do you know he was 41. If rescue workers were unable to revive him, we do know his condition. He is dead.
