San Diego Free Press reporter Andy Cohen is slated to be among the panelists on Monday, November 11th at a mayoral forum slated for the Cal Western School of Law starting at 6:30pm.
Sponsored in part by listener sponsored progressive radio station KNSJ (89.1FM), the panelist will also include other members of the local non-mainstream press including San Diego City Beat, La Prensa and Voice of San Diego.

KNSJ will field one question based off the results of a social media poll, along with setting time aside time for live audience questions. The forum will be broadcast live with audio on KNSJ 89.1 FM and video at www.knsj.org.
In celebration of Veteran’s Day the United Veterans Council will help KNSJ, Cal Western and the San Diego REP in honoring and giving tribute to these heroes.
To get YOUR question answered either attend the debate in person, or watch the live video feed at www.knsj.org, as KNSJ will take live questions from audience members and live stream viewers. KNSJ will also ask a question from the results of a social media poll, found by liking KNSJ on Facebook and following them on Twitter. As a non-commercial media outlet KNSJ hopes to bring attention to issues and questions that the larger commercial media outlets often overlook or leave out.

As a volunteer with a community radio station up in Shasta County, KKRN-88.5fm, Bella Vista, broadcasting from Round Mountain, streaming at kkrn.org, I am impressed with this effort on KNSJ’s part and hope the candidates showed up and really engaged with the audience. It could be great radio! Can’t wait to hear the reports. I hope we can engage the political process up our way as ambitiously. Though we are up in the hills (the Intermountain area, between Mt. Lassen and Mt. Shasta) our signal can be heard in almost all of Redding the main larger city in far northern California so we have a potential listening base of over 100,000 people.
I received an email yesterday about this and emailed back that it would have been
nice to have gotten it at least a wk. ago to get it on the calendar.
This news item coming so late, on the day of the event, can’t help too many people
who would have liked to go, but already had other plans.
