Cabrillo Closed-Shutdown

We’re in Day 3 of the Federal government shutdown. If you are outraged or upset, how about calling or contacting San Diego’s Congressional members who support the shutdown?

Call Congressmen Darrell Issa and Duncan Hunter, Jr. Both are Republicans and both have consistently voted to shutdown the federal government in efforts to defund the law called the Affordable Care Act.

San Diego’s Democratic Congressional members, Susan Davis, Juan Vargas, and Scott Peters – all have supported the Obama Administration’s efforts to keep the government open.

Here’s contact info on both Darrell Issa and Duncan Hunter.

Good. This is very helpful. Thanks, Frank.

Am I the only one who feels like the US is creating its own proletariat? This is a class that has never truly existed — but with unemployment, underemployment, landlessness, migrations, and “over-education” (which is an impossibility)… and now the shutdown, which I find vaguely reminiscent of sanctions against the American public by its own govt… I wouldn’t be surprised.

Surveillance, shutdowns, incredible debt… there is not a single business that would survive such terrible management. The Board of Directors (the American people) need to change the system… how about we start with Congressional term limits?

I am perplexed by the apathy of the American people on the shut down of our government. Where is the outrage? Our elected representatives hate each other’s ideas more than they love our Country. People are suffering and we are moving closer to a point where we may not be able to pull out of a staggering bad economy. Where are the voices of the people? Our leaders hold the fate of our future and our kids well-being in their hands and they are being completely cavalier in their actions. I for one am outraged and seek like minded people to loudly voice my contempt for these incompetent so called leaders.
