Thanks to all the volunteers who came out to the Surfrider sponsored clean-up in OB on Saturday morning. The groups, including Girl & Boy Scouts & lots of high school kids, collected several big bags of trash. 3,500 cigarette butts were counted among the debris and the Surfrider organizers got a big laugh over the many discarded roaches (not the bugs) and joints mixed in with the cigarette refuse–most of it found along the boardwalk area near the OB Pier.
