There is a conspiracy afoot in Ocean Beach. Take this quote, for instance, from today’s U-T:
Paul and Lynn Bolton, owners of the Electric Ladyland Art and Music Center, were interested in renting their 1,800-square-foot-space in Ocean Beach for theater productions. Electric Ladyland is primarily an eclectic art and music venue that fits the neighborhood’s culture with its fringe lamps, Persian rugs and sequined flags. The venue is equipped with a recording studio, and there is an elevated stage and room for about 130 seats.
This is proof – the conspiracy to bring more art to OB is real. Here is the beginning of today’s article from the U-T:

It’s a funky beach town, famous for its concrete pier, antique shops, a great dog beach and Hodad’s hamburgers.
If Jerry Pilato has his way, Ocean Beach will also be known for its community theater.
Pilato moved to San Diego from Texas seven years ago with a dream of launching his own theatrical group. During the day he works as a phone supervisor for Broadway/San Diego, and in his spare time he operates Different Stages, his own theater company.

Would you kindly send a restaurant reviewer to Jiggle Jiggle on Midway? It’s a keen little Korean BBQ that’s really reasonably priced and very good.
Hi Barbara, Funny you should mention “Jiggle Jiggle” because I was just talking to my Korean student about eating there some night. I have gone there to get “take out” for her, but only specific things. I will put it on my list for next week. It will be interesting to get a true Korean take on it. Judi
