As the San Diego U-T has removed Gary Trudeau’s Doonesbury cartoon from the paper due to the comic’s emphasis this week on women’s reproductive rights, here it is:

At least the doctors in Texas can charge the state $932 to read the material.

So funny that SDUT doesn’t think its readers can handle a few days worth of a comic. Or that it feels compelled to censor Gary Trudeau.

Is this what it feels like to be a newspaper reader in China?

This cartoon was published in one of the Houston newspapers, so all of Texas isn’t
drenched with driveling ignorance. I read it there the other day, at the VA hospital.
