We will line the public sidewalks along Gateway Drive, leading up to the Country Club entrance, and at its intersection with the busy Shadowridge Drive.
Bring your sass and creativity — we want to let the Chairman of our House Oversight Committee who held a hearing on contraception and refused to allow any women to testify in the first panel, know that we WILL be heard and seen, despite his best efforts!
Signs, costumes (beehives and pearls, Bishop miter and robe, chastity belts …), and VOICES needed. Bring your sass, style and creativity to bear! Also flashlights and other portable lighting to extend our visibility.
NOTE: We will gather starting at 5p for maximum visibility before the event, through arrival of guests for 730p dinner (8p). FB is being wonky about displaying Times correctly. Arrive as early as you can and stay as long as you are able. See below RE parking, CARPOOLING ESSENTIAL!
Directions: From Hwy 78 (via I-5 or I-15), exit Sycamore, and turn South, then Right on Shadowridge Dr., to Gateway Drive on the right. Public parking is Very limited, carpooling highly recommended. Street parking available on Brewley (turn LEFT from Gateway Drive, before entry to CC), and on Columbus Way, first Left from Shadowridge Drive southbound (past Gateway Drive). ALWAYS check for any parking signs wherever you park.
(NOTE: NCTD Breeze 332 bus service does not run in evening on Shadowridge Dr, alas.)
