As previously reported, Willie Nelson is rallying behind the Occupy Wall Street protests. While many country artists have kept mum about their thoughts on the movement, Nelson posted a video  in October of him and his wife reciting a poem they wrote in favor of Occupy.

Now, he’s joining forces with other famous musicians who share his stance on the topic by contributing to the album ‘Occupy This Album: A Compilation of Music By, For and Inspired by the Occupy Wall Street Movement and the 99%.’ The album is expected to release in the spring.

Joining Nelson on the first-ever benefit record for the Occupy movement are Yoko Ono, Crosby & Nash, Debbie Harry, Devo, Tom Morello, Thievery Corporation, MOGWAI, Third Eye Blind, Jackson Browne, Ladytron, Our Lady Peace, Warren Haynes, Rain Phoenix, Yo La Tengo, Lucinda Williams, Matt Pless, The Guthrie Family, Loudon Wainwright III, Joseph Arthur, DJ Logic and more.

I love that outlaw Willie Nelson. Kind of fits in, doesn’t he?

Rick, who are the Mike Curb Congregation?

Oh yes, I could just research it on the internet.

Yea, “Sweet Gingerbread man.” Thank you for introducing him. And I still have a lot to go back and enjoy.
