Withdrawal Wedne$day Rally
November 2 at 12pm
Meet at Civic Center
3rd and B Street, San Diego
It is time to take the power and our money back from the BIG Banks.
Join the Labor Council and Occupy San Diego as we take part in the national movement to transfer funds from the BIG Banks to our local credit unions.
Meet at the Civic Center on 3rd and B Street Downtown San Diego for a slice of pizza as we gather before we march down B Street and straight to the banks.
Feel free to bring your own signs. If you have an account at either Bank of America or Wells Fargo, please contact us at (619) 228-8101 to learn how to transfer your money to a local credit union. Even if you can’t join us in-person, click here to find out how you can participate in this national action!

I want to welcome everyone to the credit unions. I have been a member of San Diego County Credit union for 25 years and a member of the USE credit union for 20 years. I have free ATM service at every 7/11 store and a 4.3% home loan.
Why has so many not switched years ago?
Calpers has 237 billion under management. That is the value of Goldman Sachs,Citi, and Bank of America combined. The big banks are not the only ones with money and power.
I’ve had my money in a credit union for better than 10 years now…finally convinced my wife to switch over and bring our joint accounts (she manages the checkbook) with her. We opened new accounts last week, and have been moving all of our automatic payments so that we’re ready to go in and close out the Chase accounts on November 5, which has been promoted for at least a couple months as Move Your Money Day…but the day it happens doesn’t matter much, I think the big boys will still notice if enough people care to cause them to lose 10% or so in deposits over the course of a couple weeks…
