A Facebook group calling themselves Make “Wall Street Banks Pay in California” is holding a planning meeting tomorrow night in City Heights and want your voice, your help and your ideas.

When:

Wednesday, November 9 · 6:00pm – 7:30pm

Where:

San Diego Workforce Partnership
3910 University Ave, San Diego, 92105
Free parking behind building

Why:

Wall Street got bailed out. What did we get?

  • 56,000 foreclosures in San Diego
  • Blighted homes in every neighborhood
  • Massive education, services and job cuts

We know it’s time to Make Wall Street Banks and the top 1% pay for the damage they’ve done to our neighborhoods. Now it’s time to make our plan to fight back at the city, state and national level.

  • Fight bank blight
  • Stop unfair foreclosures
  • Make banks pay their fair share
  • Local actions, rallies and occupations

What is YOUR idea to fight back?

There will also be resources available for families fighting foreclosures
