Best thing about yesterday’s city council meeting….we, the people, were in charge of the room, not the elected representatives. The power structure shifted for some brief minutes, and it felt so right. The elected representatives are just that, elected representatives, facilitators, and servants of the people. Finally, the power structure was in balance.
