Here are some photos and video from tonight’s gathering. Frank did a head count early in the rally and counted about 350. The group grew larger as the evening progressed and at its peak he estimates around 500 people. The Labor council passed out about 450 candles. We have created a separate post for a more detailed account of the event. See Dan Morales’ post here.

Wonderful photos, Patty. It was a good turnout for a workday night. Not as many as the Feb 26 rally. And the media? Did anyone see any TV cameras or trucks besides Ch. 8? We’ll have to wait for the morrow to see if the U-T covered it.

nah. the UT didn’t cover it. the really big news today in the paper was the agreement that the City’s politicos have forged regarding public employee pensions. Quotes from the “citizen taxpayer” types, not ONE WORD from any city employee or union leader about how they view this deal. this is the laziest example of “reporting” ever!

Say Doug, maybe you could email Jeff Light again for us and see what his “excuse” is this time.
