Thanks for providing a historical context. Many of the issues facing OB have been around for a long time, giving the community a strong sense of continuity over the years.

The 1972 GOP Convention was forced to move to Miami thanks to the efforts of the People of San Diego (who also voted to forbid the USS Constellation to depart for Vietnam)- “No Bastardus Carborundum” (dont let the bastards grind you down)- Never, Ever!

remembers when the Co-op was down from JoB, in a house, making soup with leftover veggies,and was shut down by the cops, can’t remember exactly what year that was.. but it was a simpler time, when the newly formed co-op sold the bare essentials and not all that high priced crap they sell now..
