“The owners of Blondstone have refused to engage in productive conversations with the Farmer’s Market.”

Competition is a beautiful thing! Besides going hand in hand with Capitalism which is our American Way, it also raises the bar for goods and services which brings out the most creative sides of your fellow business people and in return should bring out the best in one’s self. However, if someone is afraid of competing then they probably don’t have the faith or the stomach to run their own business and should either find another line of work where they aren’t their own boss or get some counseling…or both.

Monopoly is a fun board game to play with friends and family, but is certainly not the OB way of doing business for the long haul here. I have no problem referring a client to my local competitor if I am unable to offer them what they need, for I know that what comes around goes around, and that as long as my community is fine, then I’ll be fine too. After all, we are all in this together.

OB will support what OB supports…period, but karma can work in both directions. Folks that can only see the bad in life will continue to spiral downwards until things look so hopeless that they end up biting off and chewing up the very hand that feed’s them.

I feel somewhat sorry for these people for being so un-evolved but I can still offer them this simple phrase of advice, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” Not sure exactly who first came up with that ideal, but he sounds like a pretty smart dude with some solid words to live here by.

Give a smile, get a smile…THAT my friends is the “REAL OB.” :D
