This is an open post for any reader to leave their rant – on anything, the Democratic Convention in Denver, the status of waves in Ocean Beach, any subject or issue.

OB Joe August 27, 2008 at 11:51 am: Okay dokay – I’ll start.
I don’t understand this group that is protesting in Denver called “Recreate 68”. Their whole analogy is wrong, historically off. Can anyone explain to me their mission and goal.

anonanarchist August 27, 2008 at 12:36 pm: Joe – their purpose is to protest at the DNC as the democrats are as guilty as the Republicans in keeping the Iraq war going. Fairly obvious. Why, you don’t think they should be protesting against Democrats? That is what happened in Chicago in 1968.

Dan Allemier August 27, 2008 at 2:16 pm: FYI – Slow down traffic on Sunset Cliffs Blvd in OB : our issue is on the agenda for this evening. The meeting is at the Community Center on Santa Monica at 7pm. Please feel free to stop by, if you would like. I will be addressing the OBTC with regards to our request to SLOW DOWN OB, by adding traffic calming measures to Sunset Cliffs.

PLEASE BE SURE YOU HAVE SIGNED THE PETITION, also if you are a business owner here, if you wouldn’t mind just writing a short letter on behalf of your business supporting our efforts that would also be great. Please email me if you have a petition signed and won’t be able to make the meeting tonight so I can be sure to add it to the pages we have, you can fax it to me if you like, 818-337-2110 or scan and email it to me but I will need the original at some point.
