Protest Against Blackwater Friday at 12:30 at Federal Courthouse
SAN DIEGO, CA. Apparently, Blackwater’s motion for a temporary restraining order against the City of San Diego will be heard Friday, May 30th in the early afternoon. People are being asked to please come to the Federal Court House at 12:30 p.m. for a demonstration! Bring signs! Downtown San Diego, Front and Broadway.
Blackwater’s motion for a TRO will be heard in the courtroom of the Hon. Marilyn L. Huff Friday, at 1:30 pm. Blackwater has sued the City of San Diego (see here) in an effort to prevent the City from denying the company an indoor warfare training and shooting range in Otay Mesa. The facility would be just mere blocks from the US-Mexico border. Blackwater claims it has a million dollar contract to train sailors.
