600 Events Planned Across the Nation Today

From San Francisco to Berkeley to Washington, D.C., peace activists plan demonstrations across the nation today to mark the fifth anniversary of the start of the Iraq war. More than 600 events are planned nationwide.Antiwar activists say their goal is to use the occasion to renew interest in the conflict when many Americans are focused on the troubled economy and the presidential election.
