Notices

Want to form a group, book club, find someone to ride-share with? Want to post a notice for an gathering, garage sale or charity event? This is the place…

It’s very simple to post a listing, just add a comment at the bottom of this page. As always, type your name & email address in the appropriate boxes, then type your listing in the comment box. Make sure you include some kind of contact information in the big comment box, the email address you put in the small box IS NOT VISIBLE to the public.

You won’t be able to post images of the items that you are listing (if things work out we may add that option later), but you may post links to images that are posted elsewhere, like flickr, picassa or photobucket. Just type out or copy the URL into the comment box, it will link automatically.

Spam is absolutely not tolerated and will be deleted without notice, as will questionable listings at the discretion of the editors.

Newer listings will appear at the top, older listings will drop off after 2 weeks (subject to change as things get busier). If you want your listing removed please come back and add a reply comment under your listing so we can identify it.

You can subscribe to comments in the sections you want to watch and you will get an email when someone posts a new ad.

Thanks for posting!

FOUND KEY RING WITH KEYS, ETC. IN WALL BY PIER

When I was in OB during December and January, I found, tucked into the wall just to the left of the pier at the top of the steps, a niche with a sent of keys and a ring with keys, car fob auto key, Woodstock Pizza bottle opener and four house keys, two lock type keys and a vehicle key. There is one other charm on the ring which I won’t mention. If these are your keys and you lost them please contact me at 619-665-8105. I will send them to you if you can identify the last remaining item on the ring. These are clearly keys belonging to a woman. If I do not hear from anyone by March 15 I will mail to SD police department as I believe that is the correct thing to do. — Kat

Kim Niehans November 2, 2013 at 9:16 am

Please join me for the opening of When Words Fall Away, an art installation by Kim Niehans on Friday, November 8th 6-9pm
at Eighteen O Five, 1805 Columbia Street, San Diego, CA 92101

Kim Niehans is a San Diego based artist who investigates the “universal thread of survival through all people” and interprets the everyday struggle and drama of the journey within her expressive paintings. For Niehans, “the art installation “When Words Fall Away”, talks about primal impulses and how we spend so much time trying to domesticate them.” Through her dynamic and bold paintings, she encourages the embrace of strong emotions and acceptance of a truth that is revealed in the primal state. Niehans’ automatic mark making approach promotes a psychological and physical experience that demands attention. By creating a space for self-reflection and exposing her primal self, Kim Niehans aims to communicate truth of the raw human experience.

Looking for some stay at home ladies and gents that would be interested in starting a book club or perhaps a book club and cooking club, meeting once or twice a month. I am an avid reader and love to cook and creat new meals. New to Ocean Beach after living in Phoenix for 18 years, but am an original San Diegan, perhaps one of the few true people born and rised in Poway! Hope we can put something together.
