OB Town Council to Hold City Council Election Debate – Wed., March 26

OBTC debate graphic 3-26-14The Ocean Beach Town Council is inviting the community to a debate and community dialogue on Wednesday, March 26th regarding the City Council election that is taking place on June 3, 2014 for District 2.

Each participant will have 3 minutes of introductory remarks followed by 15-20 minutes of ‘debate’ wherein questions are asked by our audience community members of the candidates.

  • Sara Kamiab, Campaign Manager for Lorie Zapf

Also, in honor of Women’s History Month, the OBTC will have a brief presentation from Mel Roark and Mercy Baron of the 90th anniversary of the OB Woman’s Club!

The meeting takes place on Wednesday at 7:00pm at the Masonic Center located at 1711 Sunset Cliffs Boulevard, Ocean Beach, CA 92107.

The OB Town Council hosts public meetings on the 4th Wednesday every month . Regular speakers include local leaders, political, business and law enforcement representatives, as well as members from all corners of the Ocean Beach community. Whether you’re a long-time OB-cean or just want to learn more about OB, all are welcome!

This is a great opportunity to hear directly from our future City Council member potentials. Love the chance to have OB issues heard.

Hope to see some Ragsters at the meeting tonight! It should be a good one. We will have an opportunity to hear from (almost) all of the candidates for the District 2 city council seat, + a history of the OB Woman’s club! Good stuff. See ya there OBceans…
