This just in:  the San Diego Free Press is going corporate.

From banner changes to types of articles published, the San Diego Free Press – the on-line daily journal for San Diego County has apparently made a  180 degrees turn from its prior stance.

We at the OB Rag are very concerned with these changes, as the SDFP was our baby. We re-birthed the online publication back on June 4, 2012.

La Jolla: Harbor Seals Vacate the Children’s Pool

Unfortunately There’s a Much Larger Problem Now

La Jolla residents, long upset over the harbor seal rookery at the Children’s Pool, woke up last Friday wondering if nature had finally solved the “problem.” To their amazement, not a single harbor seal was to be found, neither on the beach of the Children’s Pool, nor on Seal Rock just a few yards from the shore line.  (Go to remainder of post.)

Thank God some one is getting a handle on this “Taco Tuesday” problem. Soon some one will come up with “Everyday Egg Rolls”

I just heard OB Town council OK’d a new entryway sign sponsored by Starbucks.
