The media is reporting that a man believed to be in his 50s was arrested late last night (Sunday) for allegedly stabbing another guy, believed to be in his 20s.  This all occurred outside a taco shop in Ocean Beach, on the 5000 block of Newport Avenue, the main business drag.

The stabbing is said to have happened sometime just before midnight.  The alleged assailant is reported to be homeless.

Channel 8 News reports:

The victim told police he and the homeless man exchanged words before the suspect fled briefly and returned with a knife, according to Delimitros. He suffered a non-life-threatening wound to the chest, he said.   The suspect was arrested a couple blocks away. His name was not immediately released.
