For those unable to be “on the spot”, are there any specific items needed for donation and where can donations be dropped off?

Councilman Tony Young walked through the crowd at the Civic Center this afternoon. He asked a number of us about the nature of the police presence while the Occupiers gathered at the Grape street rally and then during the march back downtown. And then he left.

If close to University Heights Sunday morning, please join Congressman Bob Filner for a Meet and Greet Coffee at Monica’s at the Park to discuss the 2012 San Diego Mayoral elections.

Coffee with Mayoral Candidate Bob Filner at Monica’s at the Park, 1735 Adams Avenue.
Whether you’re a supporter, undecided voter, neighborhood business person, or mere passerby, drop by Monica’s at the Park in University Heights for a cup of coffee and the opportunity to chat with San Diego mayoral candidate, Congressman Bob Filner. This is a simple meet and greet. No cost to attend. It’s your chance to say ‘hi’ to Bob, get some information about the campaign, and ask him any questions on your mind. Monica’s at the Park, 1735 Adams Avenue (a few steps west of Park Boulevard).
