Editor: Channel 10 News has reported that an OB newbie was stabbed multiple times by an unknown assailant in broad daylight on Soto Street last Friday, May 28th. Ole Keever never saw who stabbed him. This story has some similarities to what happened to Dr Chris Bowd last July 4th. Bowd was knocked unconscious and placed in a coma for weeks. To this day he still doesn’t know who did it.

A local man said he was stabbed in broad daylight in Ocean Beach on Friday, but it may be difficult for him to identify his attacker. Ole Keever is recovering in his hospital bed after he was stabbed four times in the head, near his liver and also his back.
His girlfriend, Melissa Norman, said Keever was alone on Friday when he was jumped from behind on Soto Street in Ocean Beach.
“The guy came out of nowhere. My boyfriend says all he remembers is being pushed down on his knees,” said Norman. “He never got a look at the guy [who said] they were going to kill him.”
When asked if there was any confrontation between him and the person, Keever responded, “No, I never saw who it was.”
Keever moved to the area two weeks ago and does not know why he was attacked.

Does anybody know where on Soto Street….which side of Nimitz? Near Collier Park?
Sure, Soto is south of Nimitz near Collier Park. It is perpendicular to Voltaire and runs along the west side of Collier Park. It’s only two blocks long.
Soto is on both sides of Nimitz. I was wondering where on Soto this happened. Since I posted that question, I’ve heard it through the grapevine that it was near Soto and Voltaire.

Could be the same guy that attacked Chris Bowd or a case of mistaken identity. Being stabbed that many times in broad daylight sounds like a vendetta. If a similar event happens within the next 6mo-1yr in OB I would venture to say it is the same person.
