TV Show “Terriers” Looking for Local OB Extras

The TV cop show, Terriers, is currently filming in OB. And they are looking for local OBceans as extras. They are filming a pilot plus a second episode. This all according to Ted, the owner of Old Town Restaurant on Newport.

Ted’s restaurant was the filming site of the TV crew last year, and he says they are planning to come back to his place and film more.

Mark Rafferty February 24, 2010 at 3:41 pm: The X-Factor didn’t last too long on CBS…I think they aired a whopping 3 episodes. I remember them filming around town alot (Java Jungle was the coffee restaurant they hung out at), including that big alien spaceship looking thing to light the area up. And that’s why “Almost Famous” never gets old–I just press play, and there’s OB!

Mark Rafferty March 5, 2010 at 7:32 pm: They’re filming right now at the apartments on the corner of Sunset Cliffs and Santa Cruz… There is one cop on each end of Sunset Cliffs rerouting traffic onto Coronado and Del Mar…I asked the cop and he said they might be filming until 2 am…
