The Republican National Committee 2017 Spring Meeting will be held at the Hotel del Coronado May 10 – 13. Join Indivisible for a peaceful protest to let the GOP know that we simply can’t wait to vote them out of office in the 2018 mid-term elections. Participants will spell out “2018” on the beach near the hotel for an aerial photo.
We will protest Rep. Darrell Issa in particular for his failure to represent and protect his constituents. #FlipThe49th #ByeByeIssa
Timeline of Protest:
Date: Thursday, May 11
4:00 pm — Meet at the beach steps located on the south side of the 1500 block of Orange Ave.
5:00 pm — Drone photograph of “2018” on beach
6:00 pm — Social meet-up afterward at High Tide Bottle Shop and Kitchen (933 Orange Ave., Coronado, CA 92118).
Note: depending on how many people join us at High Tide Bottle Shop and Kitchen, we may end up taking our food across the street to Rotary Park
