As you probably know, each week we run a poll in our sidebar.
Usually our fine gaggle of bloggers and commentators come up with some juicy local issues. But now? Geez! is all I can utter.
All I get when I ask for ideas for a new poll from our staff is: “Hey, it’s summer time, dude! Can’t think.”
or “I’m going to a concert in the Sierra mountains.”
or “My job is really sucky right now, and I don’t have time for the home town this moment.”
or “I’m playing twelve gigs this weekend, mister editor.” … and more.
So, we are turning to you, our reader, for help.

I’m still not really sure though, I’ve only played at 5 out of the 8, and I’m starting to think it might just depend more on the band or the act, instead the actual place they perform at. I would love to see though, some of our local spots get some good “pub” though. (yes, pun intended)
Personally, I’m a big fan of the outdoor venues, (I love the fresh air shows) so I may just have to write in the some of those pier parking lot stages, they usually rock pretty good!
Oh, and O.B. Joe? Yes, I would have been a Doctor…I just didn’t have the patience. ;)
Speaking of great places to see bands, tonight is the 1 year anniversary of “HELP!” the Beatles tribute band playing at the Harp! These guys are really good, and lots of fun to watch. And they might just be the band we hired to play at our wedding next March. But don’t tell anyone, it’s a surprise.
